do you remember, too?

I was 25 when my grandfather patted my stomach and remarked that I looked like I was “eating well.” I was 18 when, home from college on winter break, a male family member noticed I was “getting hippy.” I was ten when a classmate casually noted my “potbelly.”

It’s been decades and most of the time I can’t remember the name of the book or the movie or the restaurant I’m dying to tell you about to save my life but these moments have stuck with me.

And I’m guessing you have a few of your own.

Yes, I’m an intuitive eating coach, but no, I don’t have everything figured out.

One thing I know for sure is that there is nothing more healing than finding the words to make sense of our experiences—and sharing them in community.

Which is why I’m inviting you to Embodied Writing, a four-week writing circle for midlife women who want to explore the complexities of having a body.

How this will work

💕 You’ll show up as your messy, unvarnished, full self with your pen (or your laptop) and a willingness to tell your truth in a community of like-minded creative souls.

🫖 I’ll provide juicy writing prompts and a safe container, plus plenty of tea, chocolate, and a tarot card.

🌀Together, we’ll unleash the creativity churning underneath the surface to make meaning out of our experiences.

🗓 We’ll meet on Tuesdays from 12:30 to 2 in South Boulder* throughout September except 9/23 (Rosh Hashanah).

*exact location will be shared upon registration

Questions? You’ll probably find the answers in the FAQ here. Or feel free to reply to this email. I’d love to hear from you.
